Do you sometimes feel like God and Jesus are missing from Christian churches? Join Fran Caudron and I on her podcast as we discuss my book, “Beneath the Graffiti: A De-churched Christian’s Search for Christianity,” and talk about Jesus’ Christianity, the Christianity not always found in churches.
I love writing - it gets me out of bed when it's way too dark, just so I can do some writing before heading off to work. I write because I’m passionate about God, Jesus, His Spirit, and His truth. And, I feel the Holy Spirit gets shortchanged in the world we call Christianity. The truth is sometimes lacking too.

Loved our “Hopenning 2.0” interview CJ! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences, challenges and hopes for the de-churched among us. Yes, let’s create a movement to put Christ back into Christianity, so that we all can say, “Yes, I follow Yeshua!”
Thanks so much Fran. Yes, I too really enjoyed our chat and how it kind of helped fan the flames of passion for being a truly devoted follower of Jesus. He often said, “Come, follow me.” That’s where I want to be, right behind Him. After all, I’m tired of trying to “lead” my own life–I’ve fallen down too many times. Now I’d rather follow where Jesus will lead me, and hopefully that will be to continue helping put Him back into Christianity.
